I needed a masculine thank you card and thought this sketch would be perfect to use... Sadly this stamp set African Giraffe has been retired. I used paper from these two collections Amberly Grace SWIC & Amberly Grace cardstock and Hemingway cardstock . The buttons are from the In Bloom Buttons & Blossoms.

Quick & Easy Holiday Cards!

I joined a Christmas card club on my Paper Wings group a few months back. My goal is to have 100 cards done by Christmas, so every month I make 11 and so far this has really helped me stay on track! I know I will be so glad when the holiday's roll around to have these all completed. This is a simple card I made 9 of for the month of July along with my other 2, I have completed 11... This card uses the T-2945 Christmas Circles .This rich burgundy paper comes from the Amelia SWIC .

Paper Wings Color Combo Challenge 37 & 38

These are a couple of cards I made yesterday for a color combo challenge from Laurie Wilson on Paper Wings... I'm still working on my Christmas cards and thought this would be another opportunity to finish a few more. The first card features the stamps set T-2962 Joy of Christmas color combo #37 was to use Red, Lt. Blue & Cream. I used Palette Moulin Rouge to stamp Joy and the trim is actually something I recycled off a package last Christmas. I finished it off with some Buttons & Scrappers floss. Here's my second card for color combo #38 use Kraft, Black, Green & White. This is one of my all time favorite stamps T-1236 Train Collage. Thanks for stopping by!

Day 145 Ad Inspired

I haven't had much time to do any of the challenges over at 365 Day's and sure have missed all the gals & Pam's great challenges. So today I'm going to make a little time and play along! I luv the colors in today's ad inspired piece... I did change it up a bit and add in the the pink and I left out the green & blue... Rock Around The Clock!

This image is from a set called Sock Hop and is not available... those attending Seminar this year each received one. Isn't it cute!!! I was unable to attend but my friend Barb was kind enough to share some of these cute images with me! I colored it with my Prismacolor Pencils & OMS...The Sentiment is computer generated. A Random Mail Challenge From Barb

This is a card I designed with a brayered piece I received in the mail from my friend Barb at Foster House Design. She included a few different pieces from a technique workshop she had and challenged me to use them on a card... I wish I would have taken a photo of the piece be for I stamped it... It was GORGEOUS! The dragonflies are from a new set called Wishing Happiness I used VersaMark & Clear EP, I then hit it with some Noir Palette ink & my brayer after it was completely covered I gently wiped it off with a tissue. Matted it with some yellow cs and attached to card. The sentiment was stamped with another new set called Great Greetings .

More New Stamp Sets

These are a couple of cards I made last week for a card swap.
The first one is a new set called Bears & Bubbles.
The bear image was colored using Copic markers, next I colored & cut out a second bear head with my Kai 4"detail scissors and popped up with 3-D dots and did the same with the icing on the cupcake. I added just a touch of crystal stickles to finish off the icing. The second card is another new stamp called Hit The Beach I had a blast coloring these silly seagulls with my Prismacolor H2o's thanks for stopping by....

and finally have some time for a new post. This is one of my new favorite stamp sets, It's called Summer Boys. I used 8"x 8" paper pack from TAC called Kaleidoscope Boyz and the Premium Wht CS that is great for coloring with your Copics....

Special Delivery

Sorry it's been so long since I have posted anything new, I have been working on some other commitments. This is a card I made for one of my downline that just had a new baby girl I used a Mabelle Set R-2040 Special Delivery from the Serendipity Catalogue. I'm lovin' this new baby set!
