Faux Stitching

This week I'm participating in a Blog Hop showcasing the Scor-Pal
If don't own one please check out all the great things you can do with it, I don't know how I ever got a long with out mine!
The technique I would like to share is called Faux Stitching
this is a great one to use on cards and scrapbook pages alike!

To create the look of stitching I simply used my Olfa Rotary Cutter with a scoring blade.

Make sure your paper is textured side down and you want to start with the blade in the channel leaving space at the top to roll your blade off your paper, next flip over and lightly sand to pop your faux stitches.
Finish card as desired.
I used the V-88 Red #2 white core paper
T-2990 Sweet Goodies
T-2754 Mini Occasions

You can view a tutorial for Faux Stitching here on Heather Scott's Blog .
